General travel info

Parking costs £10 per car in advance, or free for Forestry England members. If you plan on arriving by car, a parking space must be booked in advance, alongside admission tickets. Book a parking space with Forestry England or book a parking space with Ticketmaster.

Accessible blue badge parking can be booked online and a blue badge displayed on arrival, alongside the parking ticket (same charges apply).

Please note some car parks are a 15-20 minute walk from the arena.

A car parking e-ticket must be presented for scanning on arrival at the car park. 

Subject to availability, limited parking may be available on the day at a cost of £18, payable on arrival (card payments only). However for some events parking may be sold out in advance.

Vehicles must not be left overnight and are parked at your own risk.

Glade VIP tickets do not include any form of parking.  Standard parking should be booked. Glade VIP ticket holders do not get priority car park access. 

We charge for car parking to encourage customers to consider greener travel options such as car-sharing, coach, and shuttle bus. Money raised from Forest Live concerts supports managing the nation’s forests including environmental projects.

Unfortunately, due to their rural location our venues are not always easy to reach by public transport. Select your chosen venue from the list below to see any public transport options available.

If you are arriving by taxi or being dropped off, make sure you have made arrangements for your return journey in advance as there are a limited number of taxi companies operating near our forests.

Forest sites do not have public telephones and some sites have poor mobile reception. Arrange to meet your taxi at the designated taxi pick up/drop off point which will be signposted at the venue.

Customers with additional access needs, who are arriving by taxi or personal lift, must contact Forestry England on 0300 068 0400 or email customerrelations@forestryengland.uk to request a call-back, so suitable arrangements can be made for drop off and collection.

If you are walking to the venue along the public highway please be aware that it will be dark when you leave.

For your safety you should consider bringing a torch and hi-viz vest for your journey home.

Last admission to the event is at 9pm. We reserve the right to refuse entry if you arrive after this time. 

Those collecting tickets on the night should arrive by 8.45pm before the on-site ticket office closes.

The majority of our customers will be arriving by car over a staggered period. In some cases it may take over an hour to exit the car parks safely due to the number of vehicles leaving at the same time.

Thank you in advance for your patience as our traffic marshals work to get everyone in and out as quickly and safely as possible.

Forest Live venues do not allow camping on site or in the car park area.

Cannock Chase Forest

Cannock Chase Forest is located in the heart of Staffordshire close to the towns of Rugeley, Cannock and Stafford and just a short distance from the M6 motorway. Search for postcode WS15 2UQ to find your quickest route. When you get close to the venue, please turn your Sat Nav off and follow the yellow event signage as the event will be using different car parks and entrances to normal.

The nearest train station is Rugeley Town (Birmingham to Rugeley line), 3 miles away.

Only pre-booked taxis will be allowed on site, we do not have a taxi rank of cars waiting for passengers. Make sure you’ve considered your return journey before arriving and book in advance.

Please only use the designated pick up point to meet with your taxi or lift home. Do not arrange to meet them on the main road. This is dangerous due to high speed traffic at night and would have an adverse impact on our neighbours.

All Cannock Forest Live car parks open at 4:30pm.

Cannock Chase Priority Parking costing £30 per vehicle is on grass, close to the arena entrance and will enable a quicker exit from the site. 

Running regularly between 16:00 and 19:30. Customers have to be at their pick up point within 30 minutes of the concert finishing.

Cannock Chase Shuttle Bus Return: from Cannock Town & Hednesford (Forest Live)

Travel in a greener way with our return shuttle service to Forest Live at Cannock Chase Forest costing £8 per person. Advance booking is essential.

Camping is not permitted at the concert venue. 

Chase Camping at Four Oaks Farm, is the perfect camping location for Forest Live at Cannock Chase Forest.  With toilets, showers, electric hookups and a shop you can pitch your own tent or even book a pre-pitched fully furnished bell tent and enjoy the beautiful location before taking a 10 minute stroll to our concert venue in the evening.

Delamere Forest

Delamere Forest is located in the heart of Cheshire within easy reach of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. Search for postcode CW8 2HZ to find your quickest route. When you get close to the venue, please turn your Sat Nav off and follow the yellow event signage as the event will be using different car parks and entrances to normal.

The nearest train station is Delamere (Manchester to Chester line), 10 minutes' walk from the arena. For train times check National Rail

The drop off and pick up point is in Whitefield car park located off the B5152. To avoid the main traffic we would advise accessing the drop off/pick up point from the direction of Hatchmere. The drop off and pick up point uses a different entrance to the main concert car parks so please follow the yellow signage. The drop off and pick up point is approx 20 minute walk from the concert arena along a dedicated lit forest track. We advise that you wear suitable clothing and footwear.  Customers with additional access needs should see venue accessibility information.

High Lodge, Thetford Forest

High Lodge, Thetford Forest is located on the Norfolk / Suffolk border between the towns of Thetford and Brandon. Search for postcode IP27 0AF to find your quickest route. When you get close to the venue, please turn your Sat Nav off and follow the yellow event signage as the event will be using different car parks and entrances to normal.

The nearest train station is Brandon (Norwich to Cambridge line), six miles away.

The nearest bus station is Thetford, seven miles away.

Westonbirt Arboretum

Westonbirt Arboretum is located in Gloucestershire close to the town of Tetbury. Search for postcode GL8 8QS to find your quickest route. When you get close to the venue, please turn your Sat Nav off and follow the yellow event signage as the event will be using different car parks and entrances to normal.

The nearest train station is at Kemble (Swindon to Gloucester line), 12 miles away.

Only pre-booked taxis will be allowed on site, we do not have a taxi rank of cars waiting for passengers. Make sure you’ve considered your return journey before arriving and book in advance.

Please use the designated pick up point to meet with your taxi or lift home. Do not arrange to meet them on the main road. This is dangerous due to high speed traffic at night and would have an adverse impact on our neighbours.

All Westonbirt Arboretum Forest Live car parks open at 4:30pm (except on Thursday and Friday evenings when they open at 6:00pm).

Parking costs £10 per car in advance or free for Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum and Forestry England members. If you plan on arriving by car, a parking space must be booked in advance, alongside admission tickets. Book a parking space with Forestry England or book a parking space with Ticketmaster.

Those attending concerts from the north and north east (such as from the M5 J13, Stroud, Cirencester and Gloucester) will be parked in Westonbirt School grounds postcode GL8 8QG opposite the arboretum with a controlled pedestrian crossing and an approximate 1 mile walk to the arena along the level and well surfaced Mitchell Drive, through the heart of the beautiful Arboretum. This is to allow better traffic flow, particularly when you leave the site once the concert has ended.
